Graphene: Revolutionising Composites Applications
Everything about how useful graphene can be for a wide range of innovative applications in industrial sectors.
Fiber reinforced composites have a large potential in modern EVs. Especialy components like battery trays, impact protection plates and battery covers are already widely used. The automotive industry with its high requirements for high-volume and quality production requires a highly efficient production process with short cycle times. Various customer specific and product specific requirements call for flexible and tailored solutions. Fully automated and integrated compression molding cells, for thermoset and thermoplastic technologies are the key factor to cope with these requirements. In interaction with a strong digitalization platform, an energy and resource efficient concept for the production of core components for the new drive concepts can be realized.
