JEC World 2022 DAY 2: CMS KREATOR ares and a 3D printed tool for the lamination of CMS UHF tables' surface calibration GFRP sheet

The presentation will focus on the new CMS Kreator Ares and a 2060x1850x700 mm lamination master, made of thermoplastic, which was 3D printed and milled with CMS Kreator. The mechanical base of the machine is the well-known CNC machining center CMS ARES, on which the function of 3D printing, obtained by screw extrusion, starting from thermoplastic granulate, is added. The heart of the process is a multi-material extruder that can print PA, PP, PESU, PEI, PET, ABS and others, reinforced with carbon fibers or glass.
