Green efficiency European flax & hemp fibres: advanced natural materials for the composite industry. As renewable European resources, flax and hemp fibers have become the champions of a bio-economy. Their exceptional and reliable mechanical properties are more than ever in harmony with sustainable innovation. Several commercial products will be presented and analysed in terms of composition, manufacturing and performance. It will be demonstrated how flax and hemp fibers and solutions meet manufacturer expectations in terms of performance, and anticipate demands for sustainable development from consumers who are becoming more and more aware on such issues.
