Keynote Presentation : Lightweight Battery Housing Development and Application in China Market

Starting in 2010, with the support of a national policy, over 50 new OEMs were founded in China in the BEV segment.

After 10 years’ development, only less than 10 of the 50 OEMs are still survived. With their contribution, now BEV is not only well accepted by many common customers but also recognized by the giant OEM as current and future product mainstream. In the last part, based on technology trends of battery and BEV architecture, potential development of battery housing is discussed.
