Through the cooperation of Comau and Siemens, the Sinumerik Run MyRobot/Direct Control solution fully integrates the robot kinematics into the CNC system. This allows the required precision in the complex robot motion to be achieved, enabling not only the correct material deposition, but also the milling of the part to a final contour. The standard system comes with a print bed surface area of 2x1 metre, but expansion is possible by placing the robot on a track as shown in this video.
