JEC World 2022 DAY 3: Epoxy innovations for composites in tomorrow’s mobility

Huntsman Advanced Materials epoxy innovations drive the introduction of safe and high-performance battery and fuel cell electric vehicles. ARALDITE® epoxy resin systems for different structural parts, like leaf springs, different composite battery housing design concepts and hydrogen pressure vessels, will be presented. To meet the industry demand for mass manufactured hydrogen tanks, the proven range of resin systems for wet filament winding was extended by new high-performance RTM and towpreg winding systems.
