Graphene: Revolutionising Composites Applications
Everything about how useful graphene can be for a wide range of innovative applications in industrial sectors.
Andy Whitham will present Cygnet Texkimp's pioneering development work in the field of high-speed, high-volume filament winding. He will explain how the company's Multi Axis Winder and 3D Winder technologies are helping to overcome the challenge of achieving volume through filament winding and how Cygnet Texkimp is supporting future demand for high-volume composites particularly in the aerospace and automotive markets, including the manufacture of hydrogen storage tanks. Using industry case studies, he will show how the integration of specialist fibre handling techniques, automation and third-party monitoring equipment can increase speed and production rates, while maintaining accuracy and repeatability.
