JEC World 2022 DAY 2: Improved manual ultrasound inspection of composite parts

Despite a global increase of process automation for composite manufacturing and inspection, there is still many ultrasound inspections performed manually. Some complex parts are even inspected on 100% of their surface by hand following a scan path of 3mm. Testia has developed and industrialised a solution based on multi-element probe and a highly assisted and user-friendly user interface aiming at reducing the human factor and dividing the inspection time at least by 2.
