JEC World 2022 DAY 2: New hybrid process through additive manufacturing for increasing performances in structural composite parts

9T Labs, CDCQ, and Mawashi showcase a thermoplastic composite exoskeleton winglet part (subcomponent of an entire exoskeleton) using 9T Labs’ Additive Fusion Technology (AFT). The application demonstrates a cost competitive and sustainable way to manufacture a structural fiber composite part with complex and intricate details not manufacturable with conventional composite technologies.
