JEC World 2022 DAY 2: Artificial intelligence and machine learning in additive manufacturing with FDM technology

Looking to additive manufacturing, we encounter different types and different degrees of development. Some are at an advanced level; others do not yet integrate the tools that allow the process itself to be reliable. In FDM the biggest problem is make easier for the operator to work properly, using different materials on different machine. We will focus on machine learning and AI to make the process predictive and manage correctly critical parameter like adhesion temperature or mass flow rate.
