Telene 1800 Series, for Low Pressure fast RTM - High Performance Composites at Lower Investment and Shorter Cycle Time

Learn more about Telene's specific 2-component resin system for glass fiber reinforced plastic.

Telene has developed a specific 2-component resin system for glass fiber reinforced plastic. This Telene 1800 series yields a material with high strength, excellent toughness and fatigue resistance, and is capable of exceeding the needs in many demanding applications. Leveraging Courbis manufacturing expertise, you will learn how the extremely low viscosity of the Telene 1800 series is used to produce bus parts in low pressure fast RTM, with a low tonnage press and an aluminum mould. Producing at lower CAPEX than other RTM resin systems like epoxy and polyurethane is made possible, even for small and medium series. The Telene 1800 resin offers further advantages such as high fiber content with excellent wetting, no need for release agent, less vacuum required, short injection times, and simple/low maintenance sealing of the mould.
