South America: The New Eldorado of Composites
Learn about cutting-edge technologies, materials, and processes, as well as the differentials that set South American composites…
The next generation of composites can be enhanced by graphene. Its excellent strength, conductivity, flexibility, light weight nature and barrier properties are useful for a wide range of innovative applications in industrial sectors such as aerospace, automotive and energy. Funded by the European Commission in 2013, the Graphene Flagship has brought graphene innovation out of the lab and into commercial applications. Bringing diverse competencies from nearly 170 academic and industrial partners in 22 countries together, the Graphene Flagship facilitates cooperation between its academic and industrial partners, accelerating the timeline for industry acceptance of graphene technologies. This talk will exemplify the value of these collaborations and showcase real world graphene composites applications.
